This is a 1937 Conn Connqueror 48B Bb trumpet in good original condition. This model with the iconic rimless bell is more commonly known as the Vocabell model. The 48B Vocabell is shown to have been produced from 1938 to 1951, but as with other models of this era, some examples have been found to be a year early than the production records indicate. so this is one of the first 48B trumpets made.
The trumpet has been cleaned and all slides operating smoothly. Has some scratches and small nicks in various locations as well as some wear to the original plating as shown in the photos.
Engraving is sharp and clear, especially the Pan engraving on the bell flare.
Valves have very good compression.
Does not come with a case.
