This is a vintage Benge trumpet made by the original Benge company in Burbank California.    There is a "2" stamped on the connecting ferrule on the bell tale indicating the bell number and an "ML" bore stamp on the middle valve casing.  The 2 bell has a narrower taper than the 3 bell giving this trumpet an even brighter and livelier tone.  

The engraving is very sharp and clear and the original lacquer shows some minor wear, but there are no dents, damage or signs of trauma.  The leadpipe is clean and the valve compression is very good.  Overall, the condition of this vintage Benge is as good as any original Benge we've seen from the Burbank era. 

  The trumpet plays well and is a great example of what made these Benge trumpets so popular for commercial work in the 60's and 70's.    

Comes with the original Burbank Benge case in very good condition.
