This is a Getzen Eterna Severinsen model Bb trumpet in excellent original condition made in 1970.  

It is a Medium Large bore silver plated trumpet with amado water keys and nickel silver inner slide tubes.

This trumpet has been cleaned and serviced and it ready to play.  Valves are fast and smooth; slides are smooth; and valve compression is excellent. 

There are only a few minor scratches anywhere on the horn, which would classify it as excellent condition for any used trumpet, but phenomenal condition for a 50+ year old horn.

It was recently acquired from the family of the original owner, who obviously took meticulous care of the horn and was also a big Doc Severinsen fan.  Included in the sheet music pocket of the case are a number of Doc Severinsen ads and newspaper clippings, including two Getzen promotional pieces that have original signatures "Good Luck -  Doc Severinsen"
