This trumpet is from the era of Yamaha trumpets that were essentially clones of Schilke models. The 738 is a Large Bore that is the equivalent of a Schilke X3.
This is likely the best playing and best cosmetic condition of any 738 that you will find. A previous owner had Anderson's Plating remove the original silver plating and then had Charlie Melk replate/refit the pistons (including a Precision Valve Alignment) and then refinish the trumpet with new lacquer. The trumpet has seen little use since the refinishing.
This model was only provided in silver plate, so to see the combination of yellow brass, gold brass and nickel-silver is quite a visual treat.
Comes with the original case in very good condition.
