This is a 1940 Conn Connqueror 48B Bb trumpet in good original condition. The trumpet has not been played in decades and is being sold for the family of the original owner. The 48B Vocabell was produced from 1938 to 1951, so this one is an early model.
The trumpet has been cleaned and has new corks and springs. All slides operating smoothly. Has some scratches and small nicks in various locations, but original plating is very good.
Engraving is sharp and clear.
Valves have good compression. The first valve piston shows some plating wear but compression is still good.
Comes with the original case in good condition but with a musty vintage trumpet odor, so the trumpet is not being stored in the case at present and the trumpet will not be shipped inside this case.
