1941 MARTIN HANDCRAFT COMMITTEE TRUMPET SN 141510

This is a 1941 Martin Handcraft Committee Bb trumpet in excellent original condition, complete with case and all original paperwork.  With the full ensemble of original materials, this is certainly a very desirable find for a collector; however, as a player, this horn has all the qualities that make this era of Committee the most desirable.  The original lacquer is mostly present and has that darkened hue of a well cared for vintage horn, with only minor imperfections in the finish.  Valve compression and action is excellent and the slides move smoothly.  This horn is typical #2 bore, which is .451 or medium bore.  You'd be hard pressed to find a better playing vintage Committee that is in such great original condition.
