This is an early model of the V-Raptor trumpet, which was a collaboration between Stomvi and Bob Reeves.  

The silver plating shows some signs of wear, but is still completely intact.  Valve compression and action is very good.   It has had a recent valve alignment by Stomvi.

It comes with like-new gold plated trim and a full set of titanium trim.  Also both a rounded and D shaped tuning slide.

What's so special about this trumpet?

The Sound. Not to mention how easy it plays.

Through the use of Poly-Bore technology we've developed a horn that is extremely in tune with itself. This is why the sound is true and the blow is even and centered.  

The V~Raptor is the first trumpet that comes ready to play right from the manufacturer without the need for expensive after market "tweaking." 

Does it come in different bore sizes?

Because of it's unique multi-bore design and the variability of resistance using the supplied tuning slides and Bob Reeves cylinder reinforcer, the V~Raptor comes in one configuration. 

I know it's a multi-bore horn, but what bore size is it like?

There are many different bore sizes ranging from .450 all the way up to .468. It averages out to be equal to a Medium-Large bore that plays extremely open and free. 

Why so many bore sizes?

Poly-Bore technology is what makes the horn play so well in tune. When all the modes line up, the harmonics reinforce each other giving a true trumpet tone as well as excellent intonation and ease of play.

Most players say the upper register is easier to play and many have even added a few notes to their range just by using a V~Raptor.
