1955 MT Vernon Bach Stradivarius 43 Gold Plated Bb trumpet

1955 Mount Vernon Bach Stradivarius Gold Plated  Bb trumpet  

This is a 1955 Bach Stradivarius Bb trumpet in excellent condition.  It is a medium large bore trumpet with a 43 bell and a 25 leadpipe.  All parts appear to be original to the horn. 

The shop card confirms the specs on this trumpet.

The trumpet was replated in Gold about 20 years ago and the valves were replated/refitted at the same time by Anderson's plating.   The horn has been played some since that work was done and the plating shows modest wear, but still looks great.  The valve action and compression is excellent.   

Valve spring barrels,  top caps, and valve stems  all have matching serial numbers.

This horn is an excellent  player and is representative of the fine horns that were produced in the Mount Vernon era.  

Comes with an early Elkhart  case in good condition with a Bach zippered case cover.
